What visible wavelengths will eject electrons from a a metal with a work function of 2.6 eV? Please show all work I am a little confused :)

The photon energy h*c/(wavelength) must exceed e*(work function,Volts), which is 4.16*10^-19 J.

Set h*c/(wavelength) = 4.16*10^-19 J
and solve for the maximum wavelegth. Shorter wavelengths will eject electrons.

h and c are Planck's cosntant and the speed of light, respectively.
