find the number of diagonals in a 14 sides polygon

can you help me wiht this?

i got 14

is that right?

The formula for finding the amount of diagonals in a polygon is n(n-3)/2.

So 14(14-3)/2 = 77 Diagonals

Or Im not sure if this is it

So for n=8, we have 8*5/2=20.

I think it's 77 but Im not sure.

Nope.

Study this site carefully.

I thought he was talking about a 14 sided polygon so it would have 77. When you go on that website you just gave and make the polygon have 14 sides it says 77. But Im not sure. :/

I think you're right, Rezu.

Of course, I can help you with that! To find the number of diagonals in a polygon, you can use the formula:

Number of diagonals = (n * (n - 3)) / 2

Where "n" is the number of sides of the polygon.

In your case, you have a 14-sided polygon, so you can substitute "n" with 14 in the formula:

Number of diagonals = (14 * (14 - 3)) / 2
Number of diagonals = (14 * 11) / 2
Number of diagonals = 154 / 2
Number of diagonals = 77

Therefore, a 14-sided polygon has 77 diagonals.
