here is the article that i found in net.

Fermented milk, also known as cultured milk, is a type of dairy food which is made by adding lactic acid bacteria, mold, or yeast to milk. The specific chemical reaction and product that results from fermentation depends upon the type of bacteria used and the process by which it is combined with the milk. It is commonly used to create dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, sour cream, and buttermilk. Fermented milk was first made in order to increase the shelf life of dairy products. It can also make milk easier to digest and enhance the flavor and texture of dairy foods.

The use of fermented milk dates back to prehistoric times. For the most part, the ancient method usually consisted of letting bacteria naturally occurring in the lactic acid of milk go through the fermentation process. Allowing the milk to ferment helped it be useable longer.

Now fermented milk is primarily made by adding bacteria to plain milk. The bacteria are sometimes even cultivated in laboratories so that they will have the precise attributes desired for a particular product. Some of the most common lactic acid bacteria used to make fermented milk include lactoccocus, lactobacillus, and leuconostoc.

The form and flavor of a fermented dairy food depends upon the type of milk product and the way in which the bacteria or mold are introduced. For example, yogurt and cheese are made with milk, while sour cream is started with light cream. Most milk products that are made from fermentation have at least one form of lactic acid bacteria. Some also have a specific type of mold or yeast in addition to the bacteria.

Fermented milk products can be beneficial to health, as the process often makes them more easily digestible for many individuals. In addition to products with beneficial live cultures like yogurt, bacteria such as acidophilus can be added to milk in order to make it more easily managed by those with lactose intolerance. There has also been evidence that certain fermented dairy foods can lower cholesterol and help ease diarrhea and other symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.

Foods made from fermented milk can be found in several cultures around the world. Some popular foods include the French crème fraîche, which is a kind of sour cream, and lassi, a fruit-flavored yogurt beverage from India. There are also popular fermented dairy foods in regions including Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, and parts of Asia.

First of all, read through this webpage, from "What about Paraphrasing" on down:

That whole webpage includes discussion and many good ideas and examples about how to make sure you are correctly using ideas that you get from other sources.

Here are more places with ideas about how to paraphrase correctly:

Let us know what you come up with.

First, take brief notes on this article.

Then read two more articles on this subject and take notes on them.

Make sure you understand what you've learned.

Your next step is to make an outline about the points you want to make in your paper.

Your assignment was to write on a fermented "beverage" Few people drink fermented milk (buttermilk). Most fermented milk products are not beverages..sour cream...yougurt...cheese...

I suspect the writer of the assignment had something else in mind on the subject, such as beer, wine, mead, root beer. But technically, you stayed on the subject...buttermilk...ugh.

I agree with MsSue, and Writeacher, you need to work on paraphrasing. It seriously looks and reads copy/paste. Have you ever told a story? That is paraphrasing...

To avoid your report from looking like a copy/paste work, it's important to understand the article and then take the information you have found to explain it in your own words. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to write your report about how fermented milk is made:

1. Understand the article: Read the article thoroughly and try to grasp the main points and key information about fermented milk production. Take note of important details such as the purpose of fermentation, the types of bacteria used, and the variety of fermented milk products that exist.

2. Outline the report: Create an outline for your report that includes an introduction, the process of making fermented milk, the benefits of consuming fermented milk, and examples of popular fermented milk products around the world.

3. Introduction: Begin your report with a brief introduction to fermented milk. Explain what it is and its significance in the context of dairy products.

4. Process of making fermented milk: In this section, explain the process of making fermented milk in your own words. Use the information from the article but rephrase it to avoid sounding like a copy. Focus on the key steps involved, such as adding lactic acid bacteria, mold, or yeast to milk, and how the specific bacteria used and the fermentation process affect the final product.

5. Benefits of consuming fermented milk: Discuss the benefits of consuming fermented milk, such as its improved digestibility and potential health benefits. Again, paraphrase the information from the article, providing examples and evidence to support the claims.

6. Examples of popular fermented milk products: Conclude your report by mentioning popular fermented milk products from various cultures around the world, as mentioned in the article. Briefly describe these products and their significance in their respective cultures.

7. Check for plagiarism: After completing your report, double-check the content to ensure it doesn't resemble the original article. Make sure you have rephrased the information and explained it using your own words and understanding.

8. Use proper citations: If you still want to include some information from the article directly, use proper citations to give credit to the original source. This will show that you have done your research and have used outside sources to support your report.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your report on fermented milk stands out as original work, reflecting your own understanding and interpretation of the topic.
