If a trend line had the equation: y=x+9 what y value would you expect to obtain when x is 20??

29 i think

how did you come up with 29? Need help bad please anyone

y = x + 9

so
y = 20 + 9
y = 29

Thank you both for answering,sorry i reposted same question.

To find the expected y-value when x is 20, you can simply substitute x=20 into the equation of the trend line, y = x + 9.

Plug in x = 20 into the equation:

y = 20 + 9

Simplify:

y = 29

Therefore, when x is 20, the expected y-value would be 29.
