Measures of Central Tendency
A data set has one outlier. Why does the mode remain the same when it is calculated with and then without the outlier?
1 answer
The outlier is one number that stands by itself and is drastically different from those in the set. There is only one outlier and you need at least two of the same numbers for it to be a mode.
