There are _______ oxygen ions in 1 mole of Na2O.
A. 6.0 x 10^23 O2 ions
B. 1.2 x 10^24 O2 ions
C. 3.0 x 10^23 ions
D. None of these
Did you see my response to the question yesterday about the pH 9.05 and the answer was 0.298 but the data base rejected it. My response to day was that I obtained 0.299M. If you used 4.2E-10 for Kb, then you are allowed only two significant figures in the answer and I would round it to 0.30. Let me know how that comes out.
There are 6.02E23 molecules in a mole of anything. There is 1 mol O ions in 1 mol Na2O.
