Find the slope of the given line, if it is defined

y = (x + 4)/7
I can't find the answer. I don't understand what went wrong with my calculation.
Thank you.

it would help if you showed your calculation.

Just divide the top terms by 7 to get

y = 1/7 x + 4/7

This is just the slope-intercept form, where y = mx+b

slope is 1/7
