Is there any way to increase the ionic strength of a solution without increasing the pH?
1 answer
Yes. Any salt can be added. The ionic strength per mol of a salt will increase faster if the ions of the salt are not monovalent. I mean that Na2SO4 will increase it more than NaCl but K3PO4 will increase it even more (per mole that is)
