Examine the continuity of the function

h(x)=[-x, if x<0
.......0, if x=0
.......x, if x>0

I don't understand this question...

They could just as well have said:

h(x) =|x|

The relation gives different results depending on the value of x you choose
form the middle condition all you would get is (0,0)
ordered pairs form the first would be like
(-1,1), (-4,4), (-25,25) , etc
ordered pairs from the first would be like
(1,1, (2,2), 5,5) , (103,103, etc.

the graph would be V-shaped.
