i need help writing an equation of the line that has each pair of intercepts

x-intercept: -3, y-intercept: 6

  1. You have 2 points given:

    (-3,0) and (0,6)

    slope = (6-0)/(0+3)
    = 2

    now you have the slope AND thy y-intercept
    your equation is

    y = 2x + 6
