1) The preparatory meeting made clear that the idea to make a project is a result of the desire to become a more Euro school as well as to get to know how those things are approached in other Euro countries and to form networks.
2) We are convinced that apart from sciences, learning foreign languages (THIS MUST BE VARIED) and ICT skills are the most important and useful professional skills pupils can achieve. (learning science in English and mastering ICT skills are the most.... ??) I leave you the task of varying it.
3) Moreover, having introduced Italian as a foreign language only this year, .....Gymnasium had been looking for a long term partner and was very pleased and greatful when it got in touch with Liceo ......in Alba.
4) Furthermore, there is a very long partnership existing between Limes-Gymnasium and Lycée Atlantique. During the preparatory meeting, a partnership between ........and the French ...... was greeted with enthusiasm from both sides.
5) All schools are located in rural areas near natural parks with water ways, so that comparing their biodiversity is a very suitable subject.
6) It allows drawing comparisons in various ways within a very regular/symetric arrangement of analyses. Thus pupils can compare enviromental conditions and the differences between the areas. They are also enabled to compare their own working methods to those of the partner and finally try to find out what reasons may have caused the differences.
7) All this is supposed to lead them to a better knowledge of the factors making an impact on sustainability, which is perhaps the most crucial question nowadays.
8) The analysis of water imperatively requires the use of modern technologies and equipements which will increase the pupils`competence in a highly valued factor regarding future employment.
9)This use of modern technologies is linked to communication via modern ICT. The pupils will have to prepare their studies, discuss problems and share their research on an e-twinning or equal ICT-plattform in order to prepare and to evaluate field studies which are supposed to be conducted before and during the meetings.
10) The educational background of the pupils of at least two schools within the target group lacks an international dimension let alone a global dimension. The reason for this is the rural environment and often a low educational level of the parents. The families' interests are often limited to a local or regional perspective.
