English

I urgently need you to check these sentences.

1) Our German partner wrote that students can communicate in one of the European languages of their partners. I'm really disappointed by his words and I need to reply to this.

2) Among the linguistic objectives you included:
- enabling students to explain, interpret, exchange and finally compare the results of their experiments in English and other European languages, both in written and oral form.

3) We once agreed that English should be used as lingua franca both to exchange information and write reports.
English should be used for two main reasons. First, our participating students, who belong to the branch of applied sciences, don't learn either French or German and therefore won't benefit at all from the partnership.
3) Our science teachers will have to teach science in English in two years' time in the last year of high school.
4) I think you should distinguish our Comenius project, which must be carried out in English, from the student exchange programme, in which there is no official language and therefore students can make themselves understood in the language they want.

  1. 1) Our German partner wrote that students can communicate in one of the European languages of their partners. I'm really disappointed by his words and I need to reply to this.

    3) We once agreed that English should be used as lingua franca, both to exchange information and write reports.
English should be used for two main reasons: First, our participating students, who belong to the branch of applied sciences, don't learn either French or German, and therefore won't benefit at all from the partnership if there is such a stipulation as you have written.

    3) Our science teachers will have to teach two years' worth of science in English in the last single year of high school.

    4) I think you should distinguish our Comenius project, which must be carried out in English, from the student exchange programme, in which there is no official language and therefore students can make themselves understood in the language they want.
