Please help if can with the following problem, I have submitted the answers to the other problems like this one and were told they were incorrect.

I was excited and greatful for receiving both answers because I have no clue how to work the problem.

1st answer I turned in was 88.2 meters
2nd answer I turned in was 78.4 meters

It Says....
If you do not consider air resistance, gravity causes a falling object to descend a distance of (9.8)t2 where
t is the time in seconds. If a 16 pound bowling ball is dropped from the tallest building in the world, how many meters does it fall during the 4th and 5th seconds combined.

To solve this problem, we need to use the formula for the distance an object falls due to gravity:

Distance = (1/2) * g * t^2

where "g" is the acceleration due to gravity (which is approximately 9.8 m/s^2 on Earth) and "t" is the time in seconds.

Since we want to find the distance the bowling ball falls during the 4th and 5th seconds combined, we need to calculate the distance for both individual seconds and add them together.

For the 4th second:
Distance4 = (1/2) * 9.8 * (4^2)

For the 5th second:
Distance5 = (1/2) * 9.8 * (5^2)

To find the total distance, we add Distance4 and Distance5:
Total Distance = Distance4 + Distance5

Now let's calculate the distances:

Distance4 = (1/2) * 9.8 * (4^2) = 78.4 meters

Distance5 = (1/2) * 9.8 * (5^2) = 122.5 meters

Total Distance = Distance4 + Distance5 = 78.4 + 122.5 = 200.9 meters

Therefore, the bowling ball falls a total distance of 200.9 meters during the 4th and 5th seconds combined.
