  2. the questions are in the link above but I'll wil post them anyway: What technological factors contribute to the different population trends we see in the graph here?
What type of consequences might these two populations have on their local ecosystems?

  5. Nigeria's population is mostly very young, while Canada's is middle aged. Since there are so few older people in Nigeria, their medical care and nutrition is probably very poor. Canada, on the other hand, has excellent free medical care and all of its people have adequate supplies of food.

The Nigerian children are a big drain on their country's local ecosystems because they use resources, but cannot renew or conserve them.

  6. ok. That made it very clear but would the people of Canada have an effect upon their ecosystem too because there ae so many of them in a broad area of ages?

  7. Since there are comparatively fewer children than adults in Canada, it looks as though Canada will have less population later in this century. That could change as more people immigrate to Canada. (But your graph doesn't predict this immigration.) Essentially, all people have an effect upon their ecosystem, but Canada's sparse population and huge land area make it unlikely that the Canadian ecosystem will be affected by overpopulation.
