Who among the Greek philosophers would be the most influential until modern times?

a. Socrates
c. Herodotus
b. Plato
d. Aristotle

That's debatable. What does your book say?

Im online school so there isn't a book. My little excerpt said Herodotus, but on my homework I got it wrong. It said on my quiz I just took (and failed) it was Aristotle, so I am not sure at all.

Online schools often have books -- or refer students to appropriate websites.

Why would anyone take a class that doesn't teach the material???

It has some direct instructions which are lectures, but some of the teachers say stuff like " Oh yeah, the city of Medina is important. I forgot why, though." That is something that my world geo instructor says. I don't understand it.

And I'm not really old enough to pick my school, so I just do online school. It saves gas with the ridiculous gas prices. My dad would have to go aacross town from where we live, drop my sister off, go to the other side of town to drop me off, then bakc to my sisters side of town for work. I have no choice.

The answer is Aristotle because his views on government (he said the government should be mixed) are the exact same as America's government today.

If you take e2020 classes then there's a lecture and in it the it says Aristotle is.

how about you don't do the work and eat some candy you deserve it yay

Who among the Greek philosophers would be the most influential until modern times

To determine which Greek philosopher would be the most influential until modern times, we need to understand the impact and significance of each philosopher. Here is a breakdown of the four options:

a. Socrates: Socrates was a renowned philosopher known for his Socratic method of questioning and examining ideas. While he had a significant influence on subsequent philosophers like Plato, his direct impact on modern times may be relatively limited compared to the others.

b. Plato: Plato was a student of Socrates and the founder of the Academy in Athens. His philosophy was focused on metaphysics, ethics, and political theories. Plato's work and ideas have had a profound and long-lasting impact, particularly his concept of an ideal state and his theory of forms.

c. Herodotus: It's worth noting that Herodotus was not a philosopher, but rather an ancient Greek historian. While his work, "The Histories," is highly regarded for its historical accounts and storytelling, his influence on modern philosophical thought is not as significant as the other options.

d. Aristotle: Aristotle was a student of Plato and a highly influential philosopher in his own right. His work encompasses a myriad of disciplines, including ethics, logic, science, metaphysics, and politics. Aristotle's ideas and concepts have had a profound and lasting impact on modern thought, influencing fields such as science, psychology, philosophy, and ethics.

Considering the scope of their influence and the breadth of their contributions, the most influential Greek philosopher until modern times would be b. Plato and d. Aristotle. Both Plato and Aristotle have had a significant impact on various aspects of human knowledge and continue to shape our understanding and discourse even today. However, it is challenging to definitively identify one as more influential than the other, as their contributions are interwoven and have influenced different areas differently.
