What is the difference between a molecule & a compound
A compound is made of molecules of the same type. For example, H2O is a compound. It is made up of molecules containing two H atoms and one O atom.
The expression "H2O" can represent either the compound or one molecule of the compound. Usually, when they are talking about one molecule, they say so.
