let middle side be y
2x + 10 = x + y 6
y = x+16
so x + 2x+10 + x+16 = 54
4x = 28
x = 7
shortest side = 7
longest side = 24
middle side = 23

is 24 equal to 6 less than 30 ?, yes
is twice 7 10 less than 24 ? yes!
