I wrote an itroductory speech that I am going to be giving in speech class but I can't think of a good conclusion. The 3 major points of the speech is that I am a hard-working student. Adventurous family member, and laidback friend. I talk some at the begining about how most people only know me by what I am like at school but... and then I go to talk about how I am with my family and friends.

Any suggestiong for a conclusion???

thanks!

A conclusion does not introduce any new information. It sums up what you've said in the body of the speech. If you can think of something witty, so much the better, but it's not necessary.

Sure! Writing a conclusion for your speech can be a great way to tie all your points together and leave a lasting impression on your audience. Here's a suggestion:

In conclusion, while it is true that most people only know me for my hard-working nature as a student, I hope that through this speech, you have gained a deeper understanding of who I am as an individual. I am not just a diligent learner, but also an adventurous family member and a laidback friend. By sharing these aspects of my life, I hope to have inspired you to look beyond the surface and recognize the unique qualities that each of us possesses.

Remember, a strong conclusion should summarize your main points, emphasize the overall message, and leave the audience with something to think about. Feel free to modify this suggestion to fit your personal speaking style and to add any additional insights that may make your conclusion more impactful. Good luck with your speech!
