there's a problem on my worksheet and it gose like this "to add the er suffix to words ending in a stressed sylable with one vowel and one consonant,___________________________."
I've got that but then it asks for an example that's ware i'm stuck.

  1. I can think of many one-syllable words and words with two syllables in which the first syllable is stressed. Are you sure you need to find a two-syllable word in which the second syllable is stressed?
