Use reduction identities to determine if the following statement is true or false:

tan (A-B) = tan (B-A)

Is this starement True or False ?

easiest way:

let Ø be A-B, then B-A = -Ø
but we know tan (-Ø) = - tanØ

so tan(A-B) = tan(B-A) is false

or

LS = (tanA - tanB)/(1 + tanAtanB)
RS = (tanB-tanA)/(1+tanAtanB)
the LS is opposite the RS, not equal
