Does anyone know who the burgandians? Did they overthrow the middle-aged (Medieval) monarchy? If not, then who did?

Who were the Burboses? I highly doubt I spelled it correctly, but I know they were some sort of tribe who gained influence over the monarch.

The paper I am doing has to be on how the Burboses *sp?* and the middle calss gained influence over the monarch. I know the dates are 500-1453.

Thanks,
C.

The Burgundians were a Germanic people who lived in the region of Burgundy, which is now divided between modern-day France and Switzerland. They were not specifically known for overthrowing the medieval monarchy.

The correct term you might be referring to is the bourgeoisie. The bourgeoisie refers to the middle class, particularly in medieval Europe. They were a social class that emerged during this time and gained influence over the monarchy and society as a whole.

To learn more about the bourgeoisie and their influence, you can refer to the Wikipedia page on the bourgeoisie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourgeoisie). This page will provide you with a general overview of the topic, including information on their rise to influence over the monarchy.

Additionally, if you are specifically researching the monarchy in France during the Middle Ages, you can also refer to the Wikipedia page on "France in the Middle Ages" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France_in_the_Middle_Ages). This page will provide you with more specific information on the monarchy and the various social classes in medieval France.

Remember, Wikipedia can be a good starting point for gathering general information, but it's always a good idea to check other sources and academic references to ensure accuracy and depth in your research.
