Was my correction OK?

You can't say the Juliet's tomb scene
(but scenes such as Juliet's tomb)
I left out a sentence.

1)Women were not allowed to play so men had to play their roles. (Is this sentence OK?)
Better: Female roles were replaced by boy-actors.
2)James I wrote in the "Demonology" what he thought witches were able to do: up to him they were hags who used to make potions and castspells; they had familiars, they could fly and change the weather and aslo call up spirits and foretell the future.
3) Correction: in his book "Demonology" (without definite article) James I wrote that witches were old hags who used to make potions and cast spells; they had familiars,animal-shaped spirits who helped them with their magic. Furthermore, they could fly, change the weather, and foretell (predict) the future.

1) It's OK but you might put a comma before "so"

2) "up to him" might be "as far as he was concerned"
