After filling a flask with water and allowing 15 minutes in a water bath, a student finds that the water level has dropped. How is this possible?
1 answer
The water level in the bath or the water level in the flask? Both will drop due to evaporation of the water and I expect that is the answer you want. However, the flask could be cracked and have a small leak.
