I just wanted to ask you why you think the statement in 2 (with reference to paragraph 1 is "correct", I mean true).

Thank you.

1)Lorenzo says:” I’m not very fond of French and English. I think learning foreign languages takes a lot of time and you have to revise too often. If you don’t, it’s very easy to forget what you have learnt. Maths is okay –sometimes- I really like PE and my new geography teacher is great –she tells some good jokes –so our lessons are fun this year. I wish all my teachers were like her”.

2) Lorenzo thinks that learning English is difficult.

The statement is correct/incorrect.

I think it's true for 2 reasons:

1. It's a correctly written (grammatically correct) sentence.

2. I've watched many students who have worked on learning English over the past 35+ years -- some find it fairly easy, but most find it difficult, especially if their first language is one of the Eastern or Middle Eastern languages with a very different symbol system.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aren't you going to apply corrections to your first sentence here?
PS - I also think Lorenzo seems rather lazy and would rather play than work!! =)
To determine whether the statement in 2 is correct or not, we need to evaluate the information provided in paragraph 1:
In the paragraph, Lorenzo expresses his opinion about learning foreign languages, particularly French and English. He states that learning foreign languages takes a lot of time and you have to revise often, otherwise it's easy to forget what you have learned. This implies that Lorenzo finds learning foreign languages, including English, to be challenging.
Based on this information, it can be concluded that the statement in 2 is correct. Lorenzo does think that learning English is difficult, as he associates it with the challenges of learning foreign languages in general.
Therefore, the statement is true.
