I need help finding action-packed words... and several other things cause the mid-term marks are gonna be tomorrow so I gotta boost my mark up before I fail...

Action-packed verbs are those that are very specific and vivid -- that is, they give the reader a "living" image of what the writer is describing.

There are many websites here that deal with action verbs. Check them out.

um... thanks, but that's not totally what I needed... the question is "Using action-packed verbs rather than colourless ones will make your writing clearer and more interesting. On the line below each sentence, write at least three vivid words that could replace the verb in heavy type. EG: The fiver soldiers WALKED down the street. marched, trampled, shuffled, staggered, trudged

This is not a difficult assignment then, right? Use a thesaurus (http://www.thesaurus.com) and choose words wisely.

To find action-packed words to replace the verbs in the given sentences, you can use an online thesaurus. Here's how you can do it:

1. Go to thesaurus.com or any other similar website.

2. In the search bar, type the verb you want to replace. For example, if the sentence is "The five soldiers walked down the street," you would search for the verb "walked."

3. Press Enter or click on the search button. The website will provide you with a list of synonyms for the verb you searched for.

4. Look for vivid words that convey a strong sense of action. These words should make the scene more exciting and engaging for the reader. For example, instead of "walked," you could use "marched," "trampled," or "stomped."

5. Repeat this process for each verb in the given sentences and write down at least three vivid words for each sentence.

Remember to choose words that accurately convey the intended action and fit the context of the sentence.
