  1. Vo = 1500m/s @ 50 deg.

    a. Xo = hor. = 1500cos50 = 964.2m/s.
    X=hor. = Vo + gt=964.2 + 0=964.2m/s.

    Yo = ver. = 1500sin50 = 1149.1m/s.
    Y=ver. = 1149.1 + (-9.8)10 = 1051m/s.

    b. V = sqrt(x^2 + y^2),
    V = sqrt((964)^2 + (1051)^2=1426.3m/s.
