Provide one pair of variables that might be related to one another

Here is a formula that can be used to approximate spped 'r' in miles per hour of a car that has left skid marks of 'L' in feet. r=the square root of 5L. For example, to find out how far a car will skid if it is going 60 mph you would use 60 = 2square root 5L

Divide both sides of the equation by two, square 5L and 30, which = 900
Then divide 900 by five to Isolate the variable, which will = 180 L. The car skids 180 feet when driving 60 mph.
