Use at least five adverbs and five adjectives to write a brief review of a movie, sporting event, musical performance, or television show.

Bold each adverb.
Underline each adjective.
Compare the event to one or more similar events. When comparing, use at least three comparatives and three superlatives.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon was a wild ride of both action and passion. This Transformers was deffinitely the best one. It was so much more emotional and yet so much more destructive and I hope that michael bay comes back to direct another. It Still had the witty comedy that we know and love, The movie is very emotional and has a very fitted title because this movie is the darkest in the series. At times you feel like it's helpless and like the characters wont make it, But like any great film, the good guys prevail. This is the best one out of the three

Could you help me find the adverbs and adjectives. Not the whole thing just a sentence or two so I can have an example. Thank you.

Dark Of The Moon was a wild ride of both action and passion. This Transformers was definitely the best one.

I'll be glad to check your adjectives and adverbs. Type (adj) or (adv) after each one you find.

It still had the witty comedy that we know and love. The movie is very emotional and has a very fitting title because this movie is the darkest in the series.

Adjectives:
witty
emotional (with "very" it's superlative)
fitting (with "very" it's superlative)
this (pronominal adjective)
darkest (superlative form)

Adverbs:
still
very
very

PS -- I don't find this part of the assignment included: "Compare the event to one or more similar events."

Transformers: Dark Of the Moon was a wild(adj) ride of both (adj) action and passion. This Transformers was definitely (adverb) the best (adj) one. It was so (adv) much more emotional and yet so much more destructive. It Still had the witty (adj) comedy that we know and love; Yet the movie was very (adv) emotional (adj). It has a very (adv) fitting (adj) title because this movie is the darkest (superlative adj) in the series. At times, you feel like it's helpless (adj) and like the characters wont make it, but like any great(adj) film, the good (adj) guys prevail. This is the better (comparative adj) one out of the three! The other (adj) two (adj) movies were good but lacked a solid (adj) story line. This third (adj) movie blows the other two away, not only(adv) does this movie have better(comparative adj) action but it also has the best (superlative adj) story line that tie in some of America’s (adj) greatest (superlative adj) history.

thank you for the help, I think I kind of have the hang of it... I think. With such simple stuff you would think it wasn't so hard to grasp.

Good job. You missed a couple of adjectives and adverbs -- but found most of them.

Finding adjectives and adverbs is not all that simple. I spent weeks teaching them in 7th and 8th grades.

Do you have any advice for finding adverbs easier?

Many adverbs end in -ly.

Other common adverbs:
not, very, too

Adverbs tell WHEN, WHERE, WHY, HOW, and TO WHAT EXTENT.

If you're not sure, look the word up in a dictionary. Study the different uses to find its part of speech.

Thank you!

Oh -- and the most basic definition:

Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.
