sub that into the 1st
5(5n+54) + n = 36
25n + 270 + n = 36
26n = -234
n = -9
put that back into m = 5n+54 to get m = +9
number of scientific -- x
number of thers ---y
x+y = 49
11x 55y = 1859
reduce that by dividing each term by 11
x + 5y = 169
