  1. Be sure to capitalize the word "I" -- always.

Technically, there is a difference between "will" and "shall," but in the US, most people seem to use "will" for both verbs. Others seem to use the two verbs interchangeably.

    What shall I study?
    What will I study?

    Both are fine.
