1. Eq1: 3X + 11Y = 34.5.
Eq2: 9X - 7Y = -16.5.
Multiply Eq1 by 9 and Eq2 by -3:
27X + 99Y = 310.5.
-27X + 21Y = 49.5.
Sum: 0 + 120Y = 360,
Y = 3.
In Eq1, substitute 3 for Y:
3X + 11*3 = 34.5,
3X = 34.5 - 33 =1.5,
X = 0.5.

Solution Set = (X,Y) = (0.5,3).
