  1. one US fluid ounce is equivalent to 1.804 cubic inch

    volume=1/3 base area*height
    12*1.804=1/3 PI (diameter/2)^2 * 4

    solve for diameter.

    diameter=2 sqrt (12*3*1.804*4)
