I looked at spark notes and still did not find the answer.
In going over the study guide for to kill a mockingbird I cant find an answer for scout being superstitious.

I still do not understand how scout thinking he is a monster - in essence even though he is not is being superstitious I am just not getting it.
Scout was superstitious about Boo because he was unknown to her. So she used her imagination -- "Scout describes him as a 'malevolent phantom' over six feet tall who eats squirrels and cats."
How did she view Boo at the end of the book?
