Boyle's Law says that the volume of a gas varies inversely with the pressure. When the volume of a certain gas is 4L, the pressure is 165 kPa(kilopascals). What is the volume when the pressure is 60 kPa?

    V =k/P, where k is a constant
    given: when V=4, P = 165
    4 = k/165
    k = 660

    so we have : V = 660/P

    when P = 60

    4/V2 = 60/165
    60V2 = 660
    V2 = 660/60 = 11
