Pre-algebra

-5(3e-2)<-2(6e+7)

asked by Ashley
  1. -5(3e-2)<-2(6e+7)
    -15e + 10 < -12e - 14
    -3e < -24
    e > 8
*note that when dividing both sides of the equation by negative number, the sign changes to its opposite. like here, both sides were divided by -3 and the sign changes from < to >.

    hope this helps~ :)
