Pre-algebra

-3(2b+4)>4(b+7)

asked by Ashley
  1. -3(2b+4)>4(b+7)
    -6b - 12 > 4b + 28
    -10b > 40
    b < -4
*note that when dividing both sides of the equation by negative number, the sign changes to its opposite. like here, both sides were divided by -10 and the sign changes from > to <.

    hope this helps~ :)
