could someone change this to y = ?

I tried it but got stuck after the first step of moving y+100 over to tan...

"move over" is not a mathematical operation

tan 46.27 = x / (y+100)
multiply both sides by y+100
(y+100)tan46.27 = x
y tan46.23 + 100tan46.23 = x
ytan46.23 = x - 100tan46.23
y = (x - 100tan46.23)/(tan46.23)
