a mass being spun horizontally on a string of radius 1.2 m makes 100 revolutions is 45s. a) find the speed of the mass b) find the centripetal acceleration of the mass.

a) to find velocity would i use v = (2 pi r)/ T
but I am not sure what the (T) period is. Is it 45s?

b) would i use a =v^2/r?

speed= distance/time=2PI*radius*100/45sec

centripetal acceleration=speed^2/radius
