english-creative writing

I really want a list of strong words; nouns, adjectives, and verbs.

For my creative writing class I really want strong, concrete words to place emphasis on the right spots in my writing.

Thanks.

P.S.I'm in high school so please keep that in mind when providing list! Thanks so much!

  1. Oh, my! I don't have the time, energy or space to list thousands of words.

I suggest you use a thesaurus to find the words you need for your writing. Here's the standard thesaurus. Simply type the ordinary word into the search box, and see the many synonyms and near synomyms for that word.
