Is 1 mol of pure salt greater than 1 mol of iron?
1 answer
It depends upon how you define greater. 1 mole NaCl = 1 mole Fe = 1 mole of anything else; however, 1 mole NaCl = 58.5 grams while 1 mole Fe = 55.85 grams and 1 mole H2 = 2 grams.
