  1. Just distribute (multiply) 15 so you get 15s - 45 = 12s - 43 then subtract 12s from each side so now you have 3s - 45 = -43 then add 45 to each side leaving you with 3s = 2 then divide by 3 on each side and your answer should be 2/3
