  1. No, the sentences are not standard English. I can't really make sense of either sentence. Here are some tips anyway...

    1. It seems like the "bodies" are dead.
    2. If you believe there is little risk, do you think it is right? (That is probably a better sentence, but "it" is unclear.)

  2. Michael's sentences are good with one exception. In sentence 1, delete "like" and insert "as if" -- since there is a clause following.

  3. The first one wasn't meant to be a replacement for John's sentence. I was simply pointing out that it seemed as if the "bodies" were dead because of the way the sentence was written. ;)
