HELP! I need to know if I am getting the right equation for the oxidation reaction of cyclohexene and potassium permanganate?
I think it would be:

C6H10+KMNO4 would become C6H10(OH) + MNO2 + K

  1. Here is a site; just scroll down to cyclohexene. The products are adipic acid, MnO2, and KOH.
