Sulphur hexachloride, if it existed, would probably be a gas or a liquid similar to its sister SF6, which is used as a refrigerant.

Unfortunately, the existence of SF6 does not automatically mean that SCL6 or SBr6 exist. In fact, they do not.

For example, the handbook of Chemistry and Physics does not list the compound.
