My ancestors were from many different countries and include many different ethnicities, including German, Chinese, Irish, and Native American. Although I have ancestors from all over, I was born and raised in America, as were my parents, so I consider myself only American.
Personal behaviors and attitudes reflect the character and personality of an individual. Therefore, I try to treat every individual I encounter the way I would want to be treated. I believe that all individuals were created equal and should be treated fairly and justly. While discrimination is present in America, I believe that individuals should not be judged based on the color of their skin, their religion, the language they speak, or how they dress. I think that every person is unique and different, but this does not mean that they are better than me or that I am better than them.
The values and morals that an individual believes in reflect their ethnicity and culture, as well as their character and personality. My personal set of beliefs and values include helping others in need, religion, going to church, family and friends, donating, volunteering, and always striving to be the best that I can be in everything that I do.
