D=c-s/n (for s) Deprecitaion

  1. Do you mean D = (c-s)/n or C - (s/n) ?

    I suspect it is the former, where C = cost, s = scrap value and n = number of years. (That would be called "straight line" depreciation).

    If that is the case
    c-s = nD

    s = c - nD
