I need help on one particular part of algebra because i forgot what my teacher said! Here is the question:

Directions: Find the x- intercept of the graph of the equation.
1. x+ y= 5

The x-intercept is where y = 0.

Plug that value for y into x + y = 5 and you get x=5.
