Acid reactions with NaOH
Which acid,if it reacts in tincture of NaOH forms sodium hypochlorite?
1 answer
I don't understand the use of the word tincture, especially if it refers to a solution in alcohol. NaOCl is best prepared by Cl2 + NaOH but you may be able to treat NaOH with HOCl and form NaOCl.. I hope this helps.
