I would like to know if you could give me your opinion on why some people might find it wrong that those who celebrate the Day of the Day place wooden skulls on the altars that they create and wear skull masks to honor their loved ones. They used the skulls to symbolize death and rebirth. How does this go against one's own beliefs.

I believe in the Day of the dead so I don't know what to put from someone who finds this wrong.

To many of us, it just seems bizarre to use skulls as a symbol of a loved one who has died. Also, some may feel that a wooden skull on an altar is a form of idolatry.
