Silver chloride, often used in silver plating, contains 75.27% Ag. Calculate the mass of silver chloride in grams required to make 4.7 g of silver plating.

Hi.deer how can I got good ststiking for any surface .when I pliting spray chrome .and what is a good activouter.

Thanks

.7527*x=4.7g

solve for x

so the mass would be 6.24g?

shouldn't it be less than the 4.7 g of silver plating??

Silver chloride, often used in silver plating, contains 75.27% silver. How many grams of silver chloride contains 5.6 g of silver?

6.24 is correct; it should be MORE than 4.7. Which weighs more, Ag or AgCl? So if you are converting Ag to AgCl, it must be more.

oh i see! thanks
